Current Performances:

• ASHES: THE ALCHEMY OF HOPE:
  A multi-media performance involving improvised and metamorphic movement, film, shadow puppetry, and live music by director/choreographer Deirdre Morris in collaboration with members of High Mayhem, Wise Fool New Mexico, Synchronicity Pictures, and Meat Puppet Theatre.
  

• FLEXION:
  An aerial stilt movement spectacular hanging, falling and flying on the cutting edge of humanity and grace. This stunning theatre, set on an elegant aerial rig, combines the talents of internationally acclaimed director David Clarkson with the dynamic physical artistry of Wise Fool New Mexico and original music of Luis Guerra.
  

• BAGGAGE:
  Highlighting the voices of survivors of sexual and domestic violence, Baggage was scripted from the stories of New Mexican women who shared their truths with us in open forums held in Northern New Mexico. Their courageous voices offer profound hope.
  

• CIRCUS LUMINOUS:
  A new circus created and performed by Wise Fool New Mexico, Moving People Dance Theatre, and an original musical score by BING. This spectacular spectacular for the whole family brings circus to a new level, with a hint of Moulin Rouge, a splash of comedic genius, and the usual Wise Fool charm.

Youth Performances:

• TOO SMIG TO BE BITTLE: A "read-iculous" tale of magic and adventure. Wise Fool's newest kids' show featuring stilt acrobatics, masks, and giant puppets.

• A LOOK INSIDE: A participatory journey through the magical world of puppetry. Wise Fool will spin tales of fun and fancy while teaching kids and adults about the art of puppetry. From small masks to their famous giants (10' to 20' tall) that take three people to operate, you'll see the inside scoop. Try them on for yourself, bring something to life and leave inspired to make puppets of your own!

  This show is a great way to introduce your kids to puppetry prior to hosting a hands-on workshop.

• TOO MUCH NOISE: Adapted from an old Yiddish folktale, (and available in your local library) Too Much Noise appeals to anyone who's been overwhelmed by the chaos of everyday life. You'll go on a whirlwind tour of Wise Fool's wacky world where farm animals are animated by audience kids, and a bewildered farmer seeks answers from a wise man who works in mysterious ways. Everyone gets a chance to join the tale as we honk like geese, pack cows and pigs into the kitchen and take a moment to appreciate what we already have.

• THE RAINBIRD: Based on an African tale, The Rainbird weaves the folk arts of puppetry, stiltwalking, shadowplay, storytelling, music and fire into an extravaganza of visual and sensory delights. A spectacle for all ages, this tale reminds us to take the time to pass on our stories and myths for within them the wisdom of our elders can be heard. (Adaptable to Dia de los Muertos Celebrations.)

  4 artists - 45 minute show

• MAKE-A-PROCESSION: Giant Puppets and Stilt Walkers lead a fantastical procession that all can join. Works as part of a school or community event, fair, festival, wedding, commemoration or celebration of any sort!
