Festival of the Dead 2001 is a great example of our community celebrations. This month long celebration honoring the many cultural traditions of the Fall into Winter Season included Free Puppet Workshops for adults and families, a Halloween Parade and family event, a Dia de los Muertos Gathering with altars and performances and four evenings of Original Performances by local artists. Over 70 folks came together at the workshops, creating a menagerie of giants which came to life at our Haunted Railyard Halloween procession. We also taught mask workshops at the Youth Development Center and displayed the works in El Museo's gallery. Wise Fool collaborated with local organizations, Trust for Public Land, Warehouse 21, Somos Un Pueblo Unido, Outside In, Girls Inc., and POCAF.

Wise Fool also teaches workshops and brings giant puppets and stiltwalking characters to life in support of many local celebrations produced by other organizations including: All Species Day, Santa Fe Children's Museum Birthday, The Earth's Birthday Project, IAIA Museum Children's Day and La Voz Festival de las Americas.
