In addition to regular performances and seasonal events,
Wise
Fool New Mexico is involved in a number of ongoing projects to help us
achieve our mission goals.
- PENASCO THEATRE AND CULTURAL CENTER
provides a venue in the historic Peñasco theatre for local
artists, community events, and outside performances and films. We
strive to be a quality alternative for youth, and provide accessible
entertainment for the community.
- MIAMI ARTIST RESIDENCY Wise Fool has been developing an ongoing collaboration with the Greater Miami Performing Arts Center since March 2004.
- CHALLENGE
NEW MEXICO
Wise Fool New Mexico has been working with developmentally disabled
adults through the arts programming of Challenge New Mexico since 1998.
- COMMUNITY
CELEBRATIONS At the request of various community
groups, Wise Fool organizes and performs at community celebrations
throughout the region.
- WORK
WITH NATIVE COMMUNITIES A special focus of Wise
Fool's community-based efforts is work with Native communities in the
greater Southwest.
- FOOLS
WITHOUT BORDERS Wise Fool has partnered with Clowns
Without Borders to send clowns as relief into war torn communities.
