Partner Acrobatics Dear Friends,

Wise Fool artists have been working hard to create A Spoon for Every Fool or is that A Fool for Every Spoon?, a hilarious new multimedia play with beautiful puppets, uproarious acting, and a positive message. This show, based on a classic New Mexican folk tale, is the last show in our Puppet Tales family performance series. So don't miss it!

Local artists and performers have also been rehearsing their individual talents to showcase at this month's Raise-the-Rent Cabaret. And our Afterschool Fools kids will demonstrate their  budding talent at their private recital for friends and family!

On the other side of the curtain, Wise Fool is looking for volunteers to help our organization grow. See the listing below for more information.

Raise-the-Rent Cabaret
Friday, May 9th @ 8pm
at the Wise Fool Studio in Santa Fe

This month's Cabaret acts include clown, magic, trapeze, hoop dancing, poi, drag, and live music! Hosted by the fabulous Wenda Watch. Come check out the diverse and amazing creative talent living among us here in Santa Fe!

As the name implies, all proceeds from our monthly cabarets help Wise Fool to pay the rent on our Santa Fe studio space.

Best of SF 07 CoverVoting is now open for the Santa Fe Reporter's annual Best Of Santa Fe awards. Please CLICK HERE and look for Wise Fool's name in the Best Local Theatre Group and Best Local Non-Profit categories.

In past years, Wise Fool has won second and third places in the Best Local Theatre Group category.
Call for Volunteers

Community is the heart and soul of Wise Fool. It is our mission and our method.

WF Volunteer

We our proud to be a grass-roots organization run mostly by generous and amazing volunteers.

However, it takes a lot of work to keep Wise Fool up and running. More volunteers are always needed, especially in the following areas:

Admin (data entry, ad solicitation, etc)
Marketing (distributing flyers, postcards)
Door (working the ticket table or merch table at performances)
Tech (running lights and sound)
Fundraising (working events, helping with direct mail campaign, etc)

If you have time or an odd skill to contribute, please call Katy at (505) 992-2588 or send a message to mail@wisefoolnm.org indicating that you'd like to be added to our volunteer contact list.

Puppet Tales - LAST WEEK!!

Wise Fool's newest family performance series, Puppet Tales, will conclude its six-weekend run with A Spoon for Every Fool - Or is that a Fool for Every Spoon?? This "puppet- take" of a New Mexico folktale will lead you on a romp through the world of spoons, tortillas, class, pride, greed and humility - across the globe and back home again! Where else can you experience a life size "spoon headed nightmare" that will have you sputtering with laughter?

Feast of Fools - Thank You!

We'd like to extend a huge thank-you to the board members and volunteer performers who donated their time and energy to make the 2008 Feast of Fools a spectacular and successful fundraising event!
